Well I managed to pry my husband’s iPad from his hands for a short while so I could explore some apps. One app I wanted to share with you was an app called Epicurious and I thought the best way to do this would be to give you a few minutes of video of me using the application. I hope you enjoy the video. If you are getting an iPad, this is definitely an app to put on – it’s free and loaded with 27,000+ recipes!

This is a great looking app. I can’t wait to get my iPad tomorrow!
Another really good looking app you might enjoy is the one from WebMD. I was reading about it and it sounds like a great health resource.
Great review. What a super resource that will be in the kitchen!
Can’t wait to get my own iPad.
Does that program come with the ipad model? Or do you get it separately. Also, what dishes have you tried that worked out ok.
This wonderful app doesn’t come preloaded on the iPad, but you can easily download it from iTunes. I’ve used a number of recipes (with modification) and they’ve been great. Too many to list, but experiment!! Within the application itself there are people’s reviews/comments per recipe.
What an interesting tool. I could clear out my cookbooks and make room on my counter. Surprising that it is free. I wonder if that is just for the initial launch.
What a cool program? Is that installed or just the way it shows up over the website when using the iPad? I can’t wait for the iPad to arrive!
Good question! This is actually a program (application) that is installed. It does get its content from the Internet (like the website) but is a standalone program.
Thank you. Enjoying your blog and look forward to more posts.
